More on Northern Thailand
One early afternoon, I took the train to Ayuthaya. It used to be the ancient capital of Thailand, during the Burmese invasion. The ruin is beautiful. I was glad that I made the decision of going there alone instead of joining a tour. Because, I had the whole ruin to myself. It is magnificent. I sat among the ruin, admiring the stone work, its grandeur.
