Kangaroo Island - More Marine Life
Finally, this last page contains pictures of us hanging out with some Australian pelicans. They are the largest pelicans in the world and come in to Kingscote to get fed by a local fisherman everynight. So we went to go see them about 1 hour before our flight back to reality.
As with all of the animals we saw on Kangaroo Island, you could get very close to these birds. Unfortunately, we don't have a good close up of their eyes to show you the most interesting part of their appearance, but, being the great wildlife photographers that we are, we managed to get some shots of one of them landing - we like the way they surfed on their feet when entering the water.
Well that's all we have from Kangaroo Island. If only we had a couple more days ...
