• The Weekend - Queenstown and Milford Sound
• Week 3 Clyde, Beaumont, Dunedin, Otago Peninsula & long trip home   Like fireworks, the trip ends with many big blasts, a great finale.

This page is dedicate to my many new friends I met on this Vermont Bicycling Tour , my friends in the Akron Bicycle Club, especially Murray , Jim and Ann, whose previous experiences in New Zealand sparked my interest in this trip. Also to my family, including my Uncle Bob, who purchased me a funny green wool sweater with many colors when I was a little girl. Bob was in the US Navy in New Zealand. And last but not least to Sir Edmund Hilary, a Kiwi, with whom I share a name, and perhaps a little sense of adventure too. Some people call it the "Lure of the Challenge."
