Tiger Safari
The most popular tiger safari at Kanha National Park, Bandhvagarh and Pench will begin on 1st of October as per latest news. Earlier it was supposed to begin from 16 October as was decided in a meeting between hotel owners and the park managment. The monsoons in India make the jungle roads unmotorable and many animals breed during this period as the food is in abundance. Hence the parks close from 31 June onwards. The hotels at Kanha and Bandhavgarh as well as Pench tiger reserve start the process of reducing staff and eventually shut down till the park reopens. This a relaxation time for all the tourists, hotel staff and wildlife of the parks including the Bengal tigers in India who is the prime attraction. Every year a new tiger appears on the seen it could be a young one often seen that has grown up and made the primary of the park its territory. Or as oftne happens a male tiger from some area of the park which is being seen for the first time. Like Konda at Kanha it makes a name and becomes a part of the jungle stories. At Bandhavgarh Sita the tigress and Charger the male ruled the forest kingdom for a number of years and made history. Many wildlife films were made on these famous tigers at Bandhavgarh National Park in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Kipling country Pench National Park is also naming its tigers and tigresses. The park is rising in popularity as more and more tourists are making to see this tiger reserves in Seoni Hills where Mowgli the wolf child was discovered. The number of tourists interested in widlife safaris is increasing every year th come from various countries aprt from the local Indian tourists. 2008-08-09 05:29:44 GMT
