Kanha Tiger Reserve - National Park - Hotel Accommodation

Kanha Tiger Reserve

 barasingha Kanha National Park.
Tiger's Last Stand.....with more then 110 tigers in the forest. Kanha is best place to see the tiger in the wild in a Bengal tiger safari. Kanha's wildlife is amazing.

Tiger rules supreme in Kanha. For a holistic experience of nature I suggest visit Kanha the Kipling country. This Indian Tiger Reserve is situated in the Maikal Ranges of Satpura Hills where Satpura National park is situated in theCentral Indian Highlands. The Tiger is easily sighted due to excellent conservation efforts. The Tiger Shows on Elephant back track tigers easily .
The topography of Maikal Hills comprises a large amphitheater with meadow - like grasslands or grassy maidan. The hills at Kanha preserves are flat-topped. The successive elevation of the valleys in the area present a step-like formation in a west/east direction. Underlying rock is volcanic which breaks down into latte rite, sand and red gravelly soils with crystalline, granitic and limestone boulders and black cotton soil in low-lying areas along the Banjar River in west of park. The river Sulkum is the principal water source and is a tributary of the Banjar river. Altitude ranges from 500-1,000m .Kanha park beckons you to its fold. Kanha wildlife preserve holds in its womb myriads of amazing life forms for you to experience...

Kanha an early morning in November.....
Thick shafts of mist hang over the grassy meadows.
Dew drops sparkle on the blades of grass as golden beams of awakening sun strike.
Some where a hollow ring of alarm call breaks the monotonous silence and senses stand alert.
First you hear him, a faint cautious Grrrrr!.... and then the King himself right in front of you.
Thick jaws, mystical, glassy eyes, deadly canines, silvery tufts on its majestic mane,
shining bright rufous coat striped jet black.
Tiger!Tiger! you whisper in awe.
Then with one nonchalant look the beast vanishes into its secret realm..........Kanha forests.
