The Republic of Congo currency is the CFA Franc - CFA is Coopération Financière en Afrique Centrale (Finance Cooperation in Central Africa).

This currency is shared by all the CEMAC countries:

It has the same value than the West African CFA Franc.

The CFA Franc is divided into 100 centimes, but no coin nor note in cenitmes exist.

Notes in use are of 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, and 10000 F. Coins exist in 5, 10, 50, 100, and 500 F.
