Atlantis: Legend or reality
The story of Atlantis starts like a legend or a fairy tale:
There was a time…Atlantis.
Probably the first time we hear about Atlantis in recorded history is in Plato’s Timaeus and Critias. Two political dialogues where Plato talks about this lost continent which used to be once a very prosperous land, in all faces of life, and probably one of the most advanced technologically civilizations in our world.
His description is so fascinating. The land of the gods, where everything was peace and harmony, where the community-political system of living was perfect, where nature was so rich and beautiful, with precious stones and crystals found everywhere. He’s spoken about elephants there, and the capital Poseidia, as a city of culture, arts and wisdom.
This continent was big, and located in the Atlantic Ocean. It covered all the distance from the East shores of Florida until Gibraltar.
The people of Atlantis migrated to other parts of the world, and it was them actually who initiated other cultures to civilization.
But it has been a time where all this changed. Something terrible happened and it leaded to their downfall. People became more and more attached to power and material desires. They wanted to control others and everything using even black magic, some became very sick. Then they went to wanting to conquer the world. They declared war to all the close nations and went right to Athens. After that there has been terrible earthquakes and floods and in one day and night, it’s all gone. Atlantis, the Queen of the Sea, was no more.
According to Plato, this story is true and happened some 10500 BC. He was told about it by a relative (Solon), who got it himself from an Egyptian priest.
It’s a fascinating story. It is even said that the sinking of Atlantis has been witnessed by other cultures, and also by the Greek warriors who actually were winning against the Atlanteans and fighting them back to Gibraltar, where they saw all happening. Records to this day would exist in Egypt, the Yucatan and Bimini (remaining of Atlantis), and Tibet not to mention other parts of the world that prove this story is true. The Bible spoken about the "Great Flood" and the Mayan left also behind documents about it.
But how come the Greeks, who were known for recording everything that happened, didn’t even mention it. The answer could be that they simply lost their ancient records, maybe by fires or earthquakes or politics, or maybe it was the will of the gods.
In fact who were the gods? There are so many legends about them and it has been a time where they were so familiar to our ancestors. Could it be possible that some of these legends would be actually true? And why would they be called gods if they didn’t have anything special about them compared to normal people. They were really immortal perhaps, or maybe ETs with special powers, and they contributed enormously to the rise of human consciousness in these times through wisdom and scientific knowledge.
Could it be possible that some of the ancient Egyptian and Greek gods were actually Atlanteans, survivors who could escape before the flood?
They probably were. The Legends continue to say that these people actually found a way to leave Earth and went to another place.
After all Atlanteans were masters in technology. They built pyramids to create huge amounts of energy for daily need and to control the weather. Their science included crystal surgery, which treated diseases and pains by neutralizing their frequencies and vibrations (this science is rediscovered now: check

They also communicated with the insect world and had interferometric laser systems that were able to give 3 dimensional zoom images of the other planets and celestial bodies. They had ships, flying cars and aircraft. They also used genetic engineering, which might explain the existence of certain ancient monsters in the past such as centaurs, the medusa and mermaids. In fact lets consider some more recent legends: the medieval ones.
For the writers of medieval fairy tales and so on, nothing would happen without the interference of fairies and witches, the wood was populated by elves and similar other creatures. The sailors encountered all the time mermaids and sirens. There are books and Internet passages full of people’s stories who actually have seen these creatures. There are fascinating stories from all around the globe, every country, every culture seems to believe in beings different than human. Most of them of course made out of imagination to scare or control people or prevent them from approaching certain places or just to fascinate them or simply tell a story. We all love these stories whether we are kids or older. We all love the sense of magic or charm or beauty or drama we get out of them.
But again where did the idea of fairies or mermaid originate, angels with wings and unicorns. Where are they now. How come we stopped seeing them. Do we see only what we believe we can see?
In this case our current heros or helpers would be the ETs. People coming from planets more advanced than ours, seeking to help or harm us. In a few hundred years stories about them would become legends.
It is all about legends. Legends are supposed to be the result of wild human imagination, they are, if there is no material proof for them.
But let’s get back to Atlantis.
Edgar Cayce, the famous "sleeping prophet", spoken so much about Atlantis. He said that a room (the hall of records) beneath the Sphinx in Egypt was going to be discovered in 98, that will prove the existence of this great culture. Jon Peniel in his book, The Lost Teachings of Atlantis, said that this discovery has been already made by pro, but not made public for several reasons. He mentioned that it isn’t only there as a "fascinating truth", but more so as a legacy for us. It is there carrying the teachings of these peoples, their message of peace and hope for future humanity.
So many books, people and workshops these days are talking about Atlantis. It is as if everybody wants to remember now its existence. One thing is for sure, there is no smoke without fire (as it says in French), and for some people, the story of Atlantis is not an enigma any more.
