E The old Darwin Town Hall. This was completely destroyed by Cyclone Tracy in 1974 (along with most of Darwin). As much of it that was found was rebuilt and is often used as an open air theatre. |

Vestey's Beach and further along is Mindil Beach. There are fairly regular sightings of crocodiles near Vestey's which is the main launch area for boats of all sorts. Mindil Beach has the Beer Can Regatta (boats made from beercans) and the Darwin Casino is on its shores. |
