When is a good time to dive in Malaysia?

• East Malaysia can be dived all year round... there may be days of heavier rain than usual when typhoons are hitting the northern Philippines, China or Japan, but not enuff ot stop u diving...
• East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia... diving is just impossible from November to March due to the "Monsoon" factor... the awesome under-H2O adventure is attainable from April to October... 
• The West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia... da drier season falls between November & March... leaving da rest of da year wet...

What should I bring?

The temperature normally ranges between 25^oC (77^oF) and 28^oC (83^oF)... with this warm marvellous water, lycra skin-suits and trim wet suits are adequate...

all necessary scuba diving equipment can be hired easily... however, a valid proof of qualification such as the Certification Card & Log Book will be a necessity...

Marine Conservation...

• Alwaz maintain good buoyancy control...
• Alwaz avoid coral touchin, standin or removal...
• Never spearfish either for food or for fun... it's illegal in Malaysia... imprisonment or fine can be imposed...
• Never feed da fish....

The Malaysian government has recognized the need for integrated planning and management of both land & sea to control & minimize adverse effects on da marine environment ... About 25 or more Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) are either planned or oredi in existence here as da Marine Parks.... In terms of public education and the provision of improved economic opprotunities, several government agencies & NGOs are active in the commmunitiy... as a diver, u can alwaz play a vital role in da conservatism of marine environment in Malaysia... alwaz remember...
