Puerto Vallarta/Mexico:
Sierra Nuevo Vallarta Beach Resort

Our stay here was very nice.
The resort was beautiful, with all amenities
you would expect to find in a resort.
It was an all incusive plan, that I recommend.
The food was a disappointment, and should
be considered when going here.
The people in Mexico were not the friendliest
we have ever met. Only when tipped did they
seem to be of assistance. The beach was good
but not that carribean blue water that I expected
to find. The stinging Jelly Fish, kept us in
the resort's very fine pool.

Antigua:
The Club Antigua
Antigua, is a very undeveloped island.
The people for the most part are poor.
The main town still has open sewer systems.
The resort The Club Antigua was great.
On the resort and beach everything was
just what you would want in such a place.
We were on the all inclusive plan, and the food
was terrific. The people were warm and friendly.
A nice place to go if you want to relax away
from it all. Not a place to go for night life.

Treasure Island/Florida:
Pelican Pointe Holiday Inn

This trip to Florida was a pre-tan suprise
trip to Draas, before leaving two weeks later,
for Aruba. We spent five days of sun and fun.
The hotel was good not great, but the Treasure Island
beach was better. It is the widest sandy beach
in the USA. A beautiful spot for a few days
of rest and relaxation. On the gulf side of Florida,
the water was warm and beautiful.
Treasure Island is between St. Pete and
Clearwater. I can highly recommend it.

Aruba:
Divi Aruba Beach Resort
On Christmas Week 1996, my family
and I went to the lovely island of Aruba.
Aruba has perfect weather all year round.
We stayed at the Divi Divi Resort. The staff
at the Divi-Divi were nothing short of excellent.
The food at the Divi-Divi was great with
plenty to eat. We were on the all inclusive plan
which I highly reccomend. This Plan included
nightly dining at the " Red Parrot," a restaurant
within the resort. Although reservations were
required daily, the food, at the " Red Parrot "
was of the hightest quality.
For the money the Divi-Divi was a fantastic resort,
and I would not hesitate to visit again.

Bermuda:
Cruise/Royal Majesty

We finally got aboard a cruise ship.
We sailed out of Boston To Bermuda.
This is a nice first cruise. For you are at sea
for two and a half days, then at port in Bermuda
for three days before returning to Boston.
The food and service aboard the ship was fantastic.
The drinks hard/soft were not included and is a cost
factor to be considered. Bermuda was one of the
cleanest islands you will ever find, the people
warm and helpful. The beaches are some of the
finest I have seen. Bermuda was wonderful.
One note, on the island of Bermuda everything
is very expensive, so bring lots of speading money.

St Lucia:
The Club St. Lucia

St. Lucia, certainly one of the most underdeveloped
islands we have been to. The raw beauty of the
island is a sight to see. With it's tropical
rain forest and volcanic black sand beaches,
St. Lucia is paradise. We stayed in the
Club St. Lucia Resort, an all inculusive resort.
The resort is family oriented with
plenty to do on the resort's grounds. We were
only disappointed in the food served at
Club St. Lucia, not totally inedible, but could
have been much better. The people of St. Lucia
we all very nice and helpful. If a relaxing
vacation is what your after, St. Lucia's laid
back style will do nicely for you.

The California Coast:

Our trip began in San Diego, where we visted
Sea World, The San Diego Zoo and The Wild Animal
Park. Those are a must see in the San Diego area.
From there we took off across the desert for a
night in Las Vegas then back to LA to Hollywood.
A tour of Universal Studios was in order
before setting off on our primary goal, The
California Coast Line. A drive up Route 1 along the seashore is breath taking. It is where the
mountains meet the sea. The beautiful vistas
along this route are something that everyone
should see. From there we shot inward to see
the Great Redwood Forest, no words can describe
the majesty of these massive trees. The Land of the Giants describes it best...:+) Our trip ended in
the old city of San Francisco, a place you could
spend a week at and feel right at home.
