Welcome to my Buffy homepage!

As a total and utter addict of the best TV show ever (IMHO), I present to the world my shrine to the wonders of Buffy the Vampire Slayer , and the wonderful talent that goes into the show, not to mention the God that is Joss Whedon for coming up with such an excellent idea.

Right...now I have my total gush-fest over with...on with the show!

As a total addict of the show, I also enjoy reading people's fanfic. I soon decided that I am sick of reading everyone else's fanfic and not contributing back, so here is my site, dedicated to hosting my own (and anyone else's, if they'll let me...send me an e-mail!) fanfic.

Background history...

Beginning in 1997, the fabulous Buffy the Vampire Slayer began as a TV series. It was born of the 1992 motion picture of the same name, starring Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry. The movie, while intending to be of the same vein as the TV series, was edited by the studios and made a lot lighter than the TV show, not as dark and deadpan. Incidentally, the person responsible for the changing of the script, one Mr. David Greenwalt, is now an executive producer on both Buffy and Angel. Is anyone else finding that kinda funny, or is it just me?

The Cast...

Now one of the most popular TV series around, Buffy the Vampire Slayer has shot its stars to fame and fortune. For those of you who are new to the wonders of Sunnydale, or just have no clue...here's a brief rundown on the main characters residing.

Regular Season 4 Cast

Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers

Starring as the title role of Buffy Summers is Sarah Michelle Gellar (pictured below). Buffy moved to Sunnydale with her mother after Buffy was kicked out of her LA high school for burning down the school gym ("You're not seeing the full picture here. That gym was full of va...aspestos..."). Made friends with Cordelia, then was outsted for almost staking her. Took to hanging out with Willow and Xander.

Although Sarah Michelle Gellar has been acting since she was 4, this is quite possibly. She was best known previously for her role in All My Children as Kendall Hart. She won an Emmy for this role, showing the world she actually is an acting talent and not just another teen starlet getting lucky. More recently, Sarah has also starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, Simply Irresistible, and had a cameo in Scream 2.

Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg

Alyson Hannigan (previously of My Stepmother is an Alien fame) stars as Willow, the nerdy, computer geek who befriended Buffy after she moved to Sunnydale. After discovering her natural ability for the magicks, she took up Wicca, and found a friend (and sapphic lover) in Tara. Now currently residing with Tara at UCSD.

Alyson has most recently starred in American Pie as Michelle, the 'flute' girl. ("...and this one time, at band camp...") This role was amazing, and I believe Alyson will be starring in more movies soon, as she's one talented chick.

Nicholas Brendan as Xander Harris

Nicholas Brendan plays Xander Harris, the goofy yet lovable 'comic relief' guy. He's always coming up with the snappy one-liners ("I'd hate to see the pursuit of a homicidal maniac get in the way of the pursuit of a homicidal maniac"), yet is an essential support for the group. He's always behind Buffy 110%, even though he's got the hots for her but can't have her. Xander is currently dating Anya.

Nicholas is only now just starting his film career, but has a couple in the works now. He is often mistaken for his twin brother, Kelly, who works on the Buffy set in the art department.

Anthony Stewart Head as Rupert Giles

Giles, as he's more commonly known, became Buffy's watcher when she moved to Sunnydale. He's helped her save the world a few times, and knows everything (almost) about every demon. After the Scooby gang defeated the Mayor and blew up the school, Giles became a man of leisure, working from home ("...which is a valid choice, lifestyle wise..."). No longer Buffy's watcher, due to his betrayal of the Council during the test on her 18th birthday, he watched as the new watcher took over, and Buffy quit the council.

James Masters as Spike

William the Bloody, once hunting partner of Angelus, was sired by Druscilla, who in turn was sired by Angelus, turned up in season 4 without his lover, Dru, and with a new girlfriend, Harmony (once a friend of Cordy's). After being dumped by Dru, Spike (so called for his love of tourturing victims with railway spikes). Searching for the Gem of Amara, he had his ass thoroughly trounced by Buffy, had to chase the ring to LA to get it back (of course he didn't though...). Since then, he's been captured by the Initiative and was 'chipped', so he can't hurt living things (except fellow demons). He's been made "impotent" and took to living with both Giles and Xander for a spell before he moved on to a crypt of his own.

James Masters, a Californian native, is so convincing with his British accent that he says it's hard to get roles as anything other than a Brit. Most recently seen in the movie House on Haunted Hill.

Marc Blucas as Riley Finn

Riley Finn showed up for the first time in season 4 as a TA, helping Buffy's psych teacher, Professor Walsh. As time passed, we learned Riley is a high ranking commando within the Initiative, and that Professor Walsh is in charge. After the monster in room 314, Adam escapes, killing Professor Walsh, the Initiative is turned upside down. It is then that Riley goes insane, after not recieving his medication that the Initiative secretly snuck into his food. Buffy cares for Riley until the Initiative take him when he gets skewered by Adam.

Marc Blucas has been in a few movies before this, mostly to do with basketball roles. Also can be seen in a rather brief role in Pleasantville.

Reccuring Guest Stars

Eliza Dushku as Faith

Faith, the second half of the chosen two, was called after the death of Kendra at the end of season 2. Kendra was called after the death of Buffy in season 1. Even though she was resuccitated, a second slayer was called. After a bad childhood, Faith was called. Her first watcher was killed by a mean ol' vamp that Buffy helped her kill. They became very chummy, and some sources suggest a relationship between Faith and Buffy subtextually. Faith was put into a coma at the end of season 3 by Buffy, and only returned to grace our screens mid-season 4. After switching bodies with Buffy, she ran to LA, tried to get help from Angel but ended up handing herself over to the cops.

Eliza Dushku has been acting for a while, acting in theatre and several movies, the best of which would be True Lies. She's a brilliant actress, and I hope she returns to Buffy in season 5.

Seth Green as Oz

Oz, who we are introduced to as the guitarist in 'Dingoes ate my Baby', soon reveals his secret to the Scooby gang: he's a werewolf. After beginning to date Willow and doing the supporting boyfriend thing, the gang moves to college, where Oz seems to know where everything is and who everyone is. After paying a bit too much attention to the female vocalist in another band, Oz discovers that Veruca is in fact a werewolf. When Willow finds them together in the morning, naked, she is heartbroken. Soon after Oz decides that he can't be with Willow until he can control the wolf. He leaves Willow for a while. But upon returning, he finds Willow moved on...

Seth Green is probably the most famous of the Scooby gang as a movie actor. After starring in Austin Powers 1 & 2, Can't Hardly Wait and Idle Hands, he was placed back to reccuring guest star status to concentrate on movies.

Missing in Action

Juliet Landau as Druscilla

Druscilla, Spike's ex flame, vampire and crazy one, left Spike for another demon. This was what led to the return of Spike to Sunnydale.
