This fawn was born in mid-June about 100 feet from our house. The mother lived in the evergreen grove near our shop house and grazed in the field between the shop house and the new house. She was the size of a large cat when born.

After about two weeks she stood about three feet high and came down the path to munch on our clover and honeysuckle.
