My favorite sports are BOWLING and SOCCER. 
Bowling is a recent discovery, but soccer has called my attention since 1970, when the Brazilian professional team has conquered the world championship for the third time. Nowadays, after winning the last Soccer World Cup in Korea and Japan in 2002, the Brazilian Team became the first Team in the world to be World Champion FIVE times.

    The Sax is my prefered musical instrument, and I like almost all music that includes Sax in their mix, EXCEPT Jazz.I plan to start learning how to play Sax one day... 

    The kind of Songs I like most are Rock and Pop Music. Supertramps, Andrew Loyd Weber, Madonna, Laura Pausini (Italian singer), Kid Abelha and Guilherme Arantes (These last two are Brazilians) are some of the authors/singers I like most.

I like chess very much, and I even had brought a chessboard with a very beautiful set of chess pieces, a clock with timer to monitor the thinking time during a chess match and some books about Openning and Ending in chess games, HOWEVER... I'm still an average player! One of the reasons I'm not so good is that I've not read yet the books I've brought (!) and I don't play chess regularly. I use to play it against my computer or over the Internet. 
Another game I like very much is a kind of card game called 'spades'. It's played in a group of four. I learned how to play this game at the internet and addapted it to be played lively, so I play it lively, with relatives and friends.

One of the things I like most is computers. Because of this I work with Information Technology and I am also studying to get a Master of Science Degree in Informatics specialized in Operation Research. Languages

Languages in general is the basic tool to communicate, so I like very much to know new languages as it makes it easiest to make new friends. First of all, I like my native language: Portuguese. It is called Brazilian Portuguese because it is slight different from Iberian Portuguese, spoken in Portugal. After Portuguese, I've started learning English and now, even not being fluent in that language I can say that I am able to communicate in English. From 1997 to 1998 I took a course of Italian Language as a hobby, and I may say that I enjoed it very much. Maybe in a few years I will be able to communicate in more than simply my native language!...

Since I've started working and getting my own wage I begun saving money to travel. I've already visited many places in Brazil, from south to north, sometimes in local tour and other times in professional missions. I've been abroad a few times, but most of them I went to U.S.A. Except from Brazil, the only country I've been in South America is Argentina.

Let's go direct to the point: I like seafood very much. Specially the typical food made in Vitória. I also like pasta and the typical Barbecue Buffets served in some Brazilian typical southern restaurants. Talking about seafood, in USA I have an special preference for a Craking Dungenous Crab or Snow Crab ...!

I am happy and proud to work with COMPUTERS: a subject that makes me very fascinated, so hobby and work activities are difficult to distinguish for me when talking about computers. I work as a specialist in IT Infrastucture in a very large company in Brazil, with branches spread out over the world.
Movies

As of today, The Witness, The Fugitive, The specialist, Back to the Future I, The fifth element and Pretty Woman are the movies I liked most. Harrison Ford and Arnold Schwarzenegger are my preferred actors. I like to see Kim Basinger,Sharon Stone and Julia Roberts in the movies, because they are great actresses carrying the benefits of a remarkable prettiness. The same is true for the brazilian actress Luana Piovanni

Here is a brief description of my family: I have two brothers and no sister. My father has passed away when I was 5 years old. My mother live here in Vitória and also one of my brothers and his family. The other brother of mine and family lives in Belo Horizonte, a city about 500 km distant from Vitória. My wife has three sisters and no brothers. Two of them are married and one is single.
