something deep inside my heart
tell me this is but the start
of something I've never felt before
the one thing I've been waiting for

It's when I saw you yesterday
my breath completely blown away
by the nearness of you
it suddenly seemed so true

you and I
it's in our touch
it's in our kiss
it means so much
I couldn't miss
you and I

it's in the dreams I hold inside
floating sweetly through my mind
as I sleep held in your arms
soothing fears and saving calms

you and I

Not going to waste a moment more
someone has to make the score
we are what most want to see
something that was meant to be

you and I
it is our touch
it is our kiss
it means so much
I will not miss
