JIST FROM FEGO - March 2000
1. Construction of a new hostel block across Jamaica.
2. Construction of a new block between HSC block &
Niger-Osun block (PTA Block)
3. Construction of a new classroom block behind the
senior classroom block.
4. Federal Government donates new Mazda bus
5. Store renamed Tuckshop. Supplied by Teachers. Now
boasts TV and seats for students.
6. Students were given the treat of their lives at the
Millenium bash before school closed last millenium.
Entries include: 2 pieces of turkey per person,
unlimited jollof rice, 1 bottle of soft drink.
7. Kitchen now uses gas cooker in addition to firewood
8. Each house now wears distinctive house wears. Checks
now match the house that each student resides.
9. Mrs Fakorede (French teacher) has retired.
10. Assembly hall painted. Now has ceiling. Ceiling
fans fixed. Old students donate long benches for
students who now get to sit down during assemblies.
Principal now uses the stage, while the junior
students stay on the dais.
11. Ibo curriculum introduced.
12. Captians now wear blazers. Students soon to follow.
13. Did you know that the Fego Administration Block was given
a long-awaited fresh coat of paint a few years ago?
Bet you didn't know that a rainfall a few days later washed
that fresh coat of paint away. Go figure!!
14. Remember the dispensary?... Well, it has been modified into a Mini-clinic. I’m sure most students will want to rest there since it might be better than the dorms.. but what about the food???
15. Students now wear housewears which are the color of their house. Green for Osun, Blue for Niger, Yellow for Cross and Red for Chad. Lucky Osun house students!!
16. Fufu is now a meal at the "Massaca" dinning hall
17. The building known as PALACE has been converted to the science building. S-P-O-O-K-Y!!!!

1. The school now has a new principal. The name of the new Principal is Mr. S. Olarinde. He was transfered from F.G.C. Ogbomosho to Odogbolu.
