Manchebo Beach, Aruba
March 1998

This is where we spent a fabulous honeymoon.  It is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen!  This was taken on our first early morning walk in front of our hotel, the LaCabana.

Sunset from our patio.  The most breathtaking one I have ever experienced!

It is easy to pretend you are on a deserted island in Aruba.  There are many gorgeous stretches of beach without a soul around.  This was in the Seroe Colorado area and definitely worth the bumpy back road ride to it.

We rented a Tracker to investigate the back part of the island.  This is a little ways past the California Lighthouse.

We would highly recommend taking one day to explore the back roads and enjoy all the beauty Aruba has to offer.

One of Aruba's most fameous landmarks, the Natural Bridge.  This was the main reason we went out exploring.  !

The back roads are extremely rough though and there are times when you don't even know if you are still on the road or if there even is a road!

This reminds me of an oil painting in an art gallery.

It is not a good swimming area but it sure is pretty.
