MOUNTAIN CLIMBING
The Andes have always been a favoorite conquer
of mountainn¿eers, ask Mr. Whimpeer! The snowcapped volcanoes of
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Tungurahua and Sangary are a few of the mounains
with a base of 3,,,500m offering climbbbs which vary from a strenous day
hike to a several days technical climb.
TREKKING
The beautiful ]Andean range in both Ecuador and
Peru is one fo the best places for trekking. The peaks are often over 6,200m
offering magnifiicent viewws while the valleys are green patchwork quilts
of peasant´s fields. The many National parks extent the possiibilities
of wandering through highland regions, lowland coastal tropical forest,
Amazon basin jungle and Great Coastal Desert plains. Just walk right up
to it!.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
A new and exciting way to see the towering mountains
of Ecuador and Peru. Based out of Quito, Baños and Cuzco you can
explore the unreached areas on expert trails of extremme difficulty or
a gentle pedal on the mountain roads - your choice!
WHITEWATER RAFTING AND KAYAKING
The fast following Andean streams and rivers
create a wealth of opportunities for you to power dowstream through Grade
5 rapids or take advantage of the level areas of terrain and have a relaxing
journey through the ever present lush vegetation of the Andes.
BIRDWATCHING
If you are an avid or amateur birdwatcher you
will already know that there are some 1500 species to add to your lifelist
within this small corner of the earth. Although our pre-designed tours
give you plenty of opportunities to use your binoculars we can develop
an itinerary for you which would be birding,birding birding - every day!
SCUBA DIVING
What better locationn than the Galapagos Islands
to enter the underwater world. Along the shorelines are over 300 species
of fish, 23% unique to the area, and 32 species of coral. Really, this
is not the excitement, just an added bonus, when you are doing the underwater
ballet with the sea liosn or circling an open water sea turtle orgy. Experience
is required as the currents can be strong. Fulling equipped dive deaart
