Coming soon     Possible happenings to cover later: Coming soon   Other Links: Red Wing - Anderson Center www.andersoncenter.org        Sheldon Auditorium www.sheldontheatre.org Full concert series in a beautiful restored theatre       Blue Moon www.bluemoonrw.com  Weekend concerts Great websites on Red Wing: http://redwing.org/ or  http://local.yahoo.com/MN/Red+Wing   Jen has her own recipe web site at http://geocities.datacellar.net/jenpiehl/recipecollection.html Here is one recipe I like: Best Potato Salad Ever Recipe (This is a large group recipe-will need to adjust a lot for smaller groups) 5lbs cooked potatoes peeled and seasoned with salt when cooking– Red 1 large onion diced 12 – 16 eggs the more the better the salad Dressing: ½ bottle of Miracle whip ¾ cup of sugar – to taste 2 squirts of mustard or to taste more if needed 1 pt whipping cream from container Cook the potatoes and season with salt.  Cool completely and slice.  Dice eggs and onion and mix with potatoes.  Mix dressing (except the whipping cream) and add more sugar or mustard of needed to taste.  Add the whipping cream out of the container and mix until the dressing is creamy.  (Taste, it should be consistency of cake mix (A little thick but not too thick) when done mixing the dressing and taste a little tart or how you want it.)   Add the dressing to the potato salad and mix together if too dry then you need to make a little more dressing.  It should be done the day before serving for the best taste. You can keep it for about 3-4 days refrigerated. –Jen  ——————————————————————————————————————————————— Island Xtreme Bowling Leagues at Treasure Island –Jen Join the excitement of the August 2008 Grand Opening and experience the 24 Lanes, Arcade, Lounge, Deli Snack Bar, and Private Party Rooms Tentative Schedule (subject to change) Bowling starts sometime in August/Sept. First meeting for the captains and TI to figure everything out should be sometime in July. League name: Mixed Nuts. We will have a team called Social Singles that will bowl on every other Sunday. The details are still a little up in the air right now and the league types are just being talked about since the bowling alley is still being constructed. League Fees have not been established, but it will probably be between $14-$15 dollars a week, which goes towards bowling fees, shoe rental, secretary fees for league stats, trophy fund, prize money and a year-end banquet. I would like a list of people that I can count on to be there every time and a list of anyone that might be interested in a rotation or sub position. I am opening this up for anyone not just RW Social Singles. All bowlers will then have this list in case they need to find a sub to bowl for them short notice. I will set up one month at a time at the RWSS meetings to make sure we have coverage.
