Wildlife

In 2003 researchers have found the diversity of wildlife on Perhentian Islands include 19 species of birds, 5 species of bats, 9 species of mammals, 11 species of reptiles and 32 species of insects. These numbers is established on rapid assessments over a short period. Further research should be encouraged to determine, possibly the exact number of fauna on Perhentian.  Perhentian Islands have lots to offer wildlife enthusiasts that are willing to explore its forests.
