This vacation cottage is located in Green Turtle Cay
(population 600), a typical Bahaman Out Island with uneven
coastline, deep bays, sounds, and delightful beaches located
about 170 miles due east of West Palm Beach. The isle is three
miles long and one mile across, offering settings of lush,
subtropical landscapes against white beaches and clear,
unbelievable hues of the sea.
One of the best beaches of the Abaco area is Gillam's Bay,
about one-half mile of white sand , and with only five cottages
on it. Within quite one acre of tropical garden facing the bay is
Osprey's Nest .
The village of New Plymouth, located about one-half mile from
Osprey's Nest, is a picturesque, prosperous town and offers a
number of services and supplies. This village is proud of its
history.
SIZE: Osprey's Nest is a 200 ft. beachfront property with two unit -that accommodates up to ten people - with all linen and towels provided. Making it ideal for one big family or two related or friends.
Osprey I sleeps up to six people in two bedrooms (one queen size bed and one dbl. beds) with two additional Bahama beds in the living/dining room area; air conditioning in the bedroooms; two baths with showers and a fully equipped kitchen.
Osprey II sleeps two people in one bedroom (queen size
bed),two people can sleep on the sofa that convert to a double
bed. Air conditioning in the bedroom. One bath and
living/dining/kitchen area.
From the Treasure Cay airport, on the Abaco
Mainland, is five minutes taxis ride to the Green Turtle Ferry
Dock. Two and half miles across a blue water lies the township of
New Plymouth on Green Turtle Cay. The caretaker will meet you when you arrive.
