SHOT #14~Apr 13/14~The shot went great. Larry is becoming a pro! Not even a drop of blood! I started feeling fuzzy~headed early so just went off to bed. Woke up feeling pretty rested actually. I didn't take a darvocet last night so my head was a bit on the achy side. I even felt pretty good most of the day. Maybe those Tuesday yucks are easing up a bit. By the late afternoon I was very tired so I laid down for about an hour. My head did start pounding so I took a Darvocet and its feeling much better now.
Its been a month now so maybe my body is finally getting used to the Intron. I should get my blood test results tomorrow. I am really nervous this time. Everything was up last time so I am hoping they will be dropping now. I also hope my platelets haven't gone down any more either. They are low and that is not a good sign. I'm very tired tonight so will hit the sack early again.
SHOT #15~Apr. 15/16~I don't think anyone should have to be stuck with a needle on IRS day! I didn't sleep very well and woke often just tossing and turning. I didn't take a darvocet again but woke up with a fuzzy feeling in my head. My body seems to ache quite a bit today and the diarrhea has been on and off for about a week now. My sinuses have been bothering me terribly lately too. The sore throat seems to come and go as well. I did go out shopping today. Its so hard sometimes to do normal things like walk around for a few hours. I thought it would help my sore back. I was so tired by the time I got home I felt like I had run a marathon. The diarrhea has not subsided today either. I started getting a headache but took some asperin so its gone at least.
SHOT #16~Apr. 17~This was a bad one. The shot itself went fine, but I noticed a lump under the skin about an hour after the injection. My stomach started hurting something awful about an hour after also. It was a rough night. A fever set in and I woke up several times during the night. My head pounded most of the night as well. It almost felt as bad as the very first shot. This stuff seems to have a mind of its own and attack when you least expect it to!
