Information about Zacatecas

This page will contain information about Zacatecas, the capitol city of the state called Zacatecas.

Zacatecas was build about 450 years ago by the spanish conquistors. This place is full of silver mines and there is still more silver left. You can see the whole city, in the picture above, taken out of the Teleferico, well you can not call it a city because it looks more like a nice, beautiful little ranch in the middle of the mexican desert. I was living for two and a half years in Mexico-City and then I moved here to study medicine. I fell in love with that place because it's very peaceful, no traffic, no smog and the people here are very nice.
