-Estoril is about 20 km away from Lisbon and has a hot climate. It was once a place where many monarchs came to escape from their countries.
Today it has big houses, modern apartments and many hotels near the coast. There is also a beautiful path near the coast, which links Estoril to Cascais. At the top of the park is the Casino with big palm trees surrounding it. There are also golf courses, equitation, Tennis courts, a seawater pool near the beach and on the way to Sintra there is the Estoril Formula 1 circuit.
