Hello, and welcome to a site devoted to the carnival festivities that go on in my hometown. These pages talk about the parades, the masquerade dances, traditions and other stuff connected to this time of the year.
This site was created as a reminder to all those who know the tradition of carnival on the Riviera of Opatija, to those who haven't experienced the carnival feeling but would like to, and those who surfed here accidentally.
Anyway, enjoy and remember... carnival is a state of mind.
