Stacy's birthday was March 11 and it was the occasion for much celebration.  In what began to feel more like a birth-month celebration, we all took her to the Manila's very trendy Endangered Species Restaurant.  It seemed appropriate as people in their 20's are rapidly becoming an endangered species at the ADB Liaison Office.

As you can see from the childish antics of Cecile, Stacy and Maria, there is no issue of growing old among the staff of the ADB Liaison Office.  I am not really sure what the three of them were doing in this particular picture.  Perhaps, arming themselves  in preparation for confronting their boss with their demands for better working conditions.

One unique aspect of Philippine culture is that you have to be either an actor, a beauty queen or a basketball player to succeed.  As you can see from the ADB Liaison Office starting lineup, all of them are succeeding beautifully … and none of them can dunk.
