The Mirador del Rio is a lookout point at the top of the island. It provides spectacular views over Graciosa Island.

The point is up a very steep, narrow and winding road so beware if you have a fear of heights or hate winding roads.

You can go outside to see the views and look over the precipice or just sit in comfort in the attractive coffee shop and admire the views.

The views are well worth the drive (if you can handle it - I know I found it one of the hardest drives I've ever done, and was shaking so much when I got up there I'm surprised I could stand!). There is also an animal park nearby which is ideal for children or the young at heart.
