The Cueva de los Verdes or Green Caves is a 1km section of one of the longest volcanic tunnels in the world. The Jameos Volcanic tube is 6km in length on land and then continues for at least a further 1.5km under the sea bed.

Walking around the caves is fascinating. Make sure you are wearing sturdy shoes as there are some treacherous parts. Large holes in the ground, low and narrow passages and some rather scary heights.
