TURUNC BAY - the IFFET HOTEL
Nick Gibbs(the blond Poseidon at the left) alias Island Divers in Kalkan has been one of my idols in diving. He used to dive and spread his fins in Turuncian and Marmaritian waters, but a few years ago he had a divine call to settle in Kalkan and set up his own company there. Hasan Soykan is another fine diver to take an example of, I am happy he made it to New Zealand and continues on technical and managerial levels of this wonderful sport. We sure miss him along with Darryl Abbott the "Rastaman of D.D.", who now involves with real estate for making a living.. For those who wish to spend a few days diving in Kalkan, I surely will recommend Nick and his Island Divers.. But those who stick with me, will enjoy our friendly ambiance on the "Divers` Delight" boat. "Earning" no commission on my guests` dive outings, I reserve myself the pleasure to accompany them - work and time permitting..
