Jim and Laurie and I decided to buy a vacation home somewhere where we could get away from the troubles of the city and have lots to do in an hour radius. Groveland has a lot of options very close by. First, we're living at Pine Mountain Lake. Yosemite valley is under an hour away. Three snow ski areas are within a couple hours. Rafting on the Tuolumne River is very close by. Don Pedro Reservoir and a couple other lakes are within an hour too.

We also wanted a nice little cabin that we could take a few friends to. We had to settle for this small 2700 square foot place with six bedrooms! To see a floorplan and pictures of the rooms click here.
