Career Statement
I have been in a Strategic Producer role in the multimedia industry over a period of 5 years.
My expertise lies in the whole strategic development of projects from concept and planning
through to tracking users and ensuring high quality by adapting the product according
to new technologies and changing trends. The references supplied will support this judgment.
I consider it important as a manager to motivate the team of disparate strengths and
skills to produce a successful project. I believe that I have evolved into a Producer /
Developer role because I am organized. It is a basic but highly necessary skill.
I get things done!

Melbourne
November 98 - March 99
Job title: Production Manager
As Production Manager I directed the overall running of this web development company and ISP,
managing a team of 6 people. As well as basic website design, we concentrated on integrating
client databases with Internet technologies in order to allow secure e-commerce via a web
interface. I researched all aspects of e-commerce from information architecture, design,
navigation, database access, storefront technologies and secure transactions between users,
clients, ISPs and Merchant Bank Accounts. I wrote Strategic E-Commerce Business Plans for both
Business-Business and Business-User applications. I also acted as the Australian correspondant
for American-based Ralph Wilsons (no relation) "Web Commerce Today" ezine for e-commerce issues relating to
Australia.

This Business to Business website will allow existing clients to access their accounts,
track orders and other services. The music, video and book areas will allow public users to
browse online purchase products. The unique aspect of the design of this project is that
the site can be maintained and updated remotely by the client with edited content separate
from the backend database using special publishing interfaces and templates.
