Greatest
moment as a teacher: When I received Teacher of the Year in 1999
(at LHHS). It was an honor to be chosen by the students and
faculty. The band that year received straight
"superior" ratings at all events. It was one of the
best years of my life!
Most
embarrassing moment as a teacher: When I also served as the
color guard sponsor, I was helping to remove the vinly floor at the
Tampa Regional competition and became buried beneath the layers in
front of about 2,000 people. They had to dig me out.
The
person you most admire and why: Dr. Bobby Adams of Stetson
university. Because of his dedication to the field of music
education and his guidance, I am now a teacher who tries to emulate
his passion for music.
