Band camp registration

• Today was band camp registration from 4PM to 8PM for all members of the Silver Regiment.  At this band members and parents filled out various forms, paid band dues, had the option to purchase band jackets and shoes, as well as signing up to work at concessions and other functions.  A big thanks goes out to the band parents who helped out.
• A B.P.A meeting was held today too in which the new band director Todd Leighton introduced himself to the members of the board and discusses his plans for this year.
• There was also a Student Council meeting in which once again Mr. Leighton introduced himself to the council.
• Upper-classmen who wish to be fitted for uniforms before the freshmen may be fitted during next week.  Check with Mrs. Mekker for the schedule.
• Note: Band camp week #1 will start tomorrow for all color guard, percussion and drum majors.
