In April 2002, I went to Guatemala for Semana Santa (Holy Week- Easter 2000).April 2001: I finally got my mom to go to Europe for a month: This was the itinerary:
Paris-overnight to Barcelona- Avignon/Arles- Nice-Cinque Terre (Italian Riviera)-Sienna to see Lola- Florence- Rome- Madrid- Lyon- Paris. It was fabuloso!! I'm glas we went in April becaue it's too scary to go now! Pictures are coming soon.
What else?Aug- Dec 2001: I am training for my first marathon with the Leukemia & Lymohoma Society. It's a 4 month program and the marathon is in Hawaii! I just comleted the half on 10/14/01!
2002: I already metnioned Guatemel in April. I highly recommend it. In December 2002 I went Puerto Rico and Guadelopue (French Island) for the holidays with my friend Seema. Puerto rico was great- especially old San Juan. But, Guadeloupe was fabulous!!! The french and other Europeans travel there- no Americans- so it was fantastic. Great food, gorgeous people and killer night life!! Pictures coming....
2003: April: My annual Mexico jaunt .This time to Cabo. I planned this at the last minute- work was hectic and I needed a break!
July 2003: Back to Europe; my friend Seema met me. I went for tour de France and the Montreux Jazz Festival. Incredible (although Le Tour did ot work out as expected :-( Switzerland is gorgeous. France is fun and also divine. and, we checked our Belgiummm which I really liked. Stay tuned for pics.
