After our first whirlwind day of touring in Rome, the beauty and peace of the gardens and fountains at Villa d' Este in Tivoli were a perfect contrast and gave us all a chance to relax a bit. The fountains on the grounds of this estate are wonderfully varied and amazing in that they are all gravity fed -- There are no pumps!!!Here are some of my favorite pictures...
