Folks, friends, this Second Amended Complaint, filed today..ain't perfect, but it is, in my humble opinion the best legal statement, as yet made, concerning the Rights of Individuals to Gather in Peace in National Forests....a lot of good people put in a lot of work digging this 'legal shitter'. I will be getting it posted on internet ASAP ...(currently in fax form)...Real good work, a real blessing for those volunteers who are working in the legal "stuff" i.e. aspects of gatherings, and for those folks who are working in the spiritual/religious aspects of gatherings...kinda reminds me of the Wyoming fire of '95, when all the "elements' - from folks praying, or conjuring up magic, to folks passing water or shoveling dirt, or looking after the children, or preparing food for everyone else...it took all kinds of folks doing all kinds of things, to put the fire out...like this "police fire burning at the gatherings", folks been working to put this legal 'fire' out, and being educated, right along with 'digging this legal shitter (fire etc), straight and true'... Every effort was made to insure that it is written it is INDIVIDUALS SUE-ING THE FOREST SERVICE OVER INFRINGEMENT ON RIGHTS TO SPEECH, PRAYER, PETITION, ASSEMBLY etc...that is, Free Feather (Black), John Buffalo (Johnson), Carla, Oregon (Newbre), Susan, Arizona family (Berstein), Brian, Oregon (Michaels) and Plunker (Adams)...with the aid of Attorneys, Lee and Dugan - for Free Feather, John Buffalo, Carla, and Susan - with Steven Principle, as 'legal aid'...and Atty Jackson, Texas. Attorney Michaels, also Brian, is representing himself and me, plunker - (I will be joining on as co-council later in the case - as well as client, in my own case)....Garrick Beck is doing Research... IT IS NOT THE RAINBOW FAMILY SUE-ING...it must be remembered that Rainbow Family is a "spiritual affinity" i.e. friendship i.e. family love-fest....and it is BY WILL AND WILL ALONE...in some folks who gather it is the Will of God or Goddess or God-Us or Great Spirit or Just-Us or Jes us...for others it is their own personal will joining with others..that is the "wherever two or more gather..." However you feel or believe, these Individuals are sue-ing to protect their own individual civil rights and rights to worship and petition etc...and to stop the Forest Service from picking people out of the crowd and citing or arresting them, without just cause. In this particular case, I would stand on what is written in this complaint all the way to the Surpeme Court or more importantly, to stand before a Council of the People July 1, 1998, Arizona...this Second Amended Complaint feels good...and it is the best that could be wrung out of the multi-tude of talents who engaged in this process. i hope it feels good for all of you..please read it and spread it around, if you like it...of course, all ways looking for input...IF YOU feel you can improve on this Document, please, there is a lot of room for folks to Stand up for your rights, and try on a Law Suit of your own will and choosing. Lots of legal shitters need to be dug and are being dug out there...check into the Florida and Mississippi, Penn and North Carolina cases, and there are new cases with every gathering....one day there will be UNDERSTANDING, ENLIGHTENMENT, AND JUSTICE....the United States Forest Service wil cool out.. and folks will be able to gather in peace...I have always believed this will happen...and it takes folks digging shitters (for shit) and folks hauling water, chopping wood, and even takes Attorneys and Courts of law, and all manner of things under heaven, in order for the "time for all seasons"...it may be 'just my imagination"...but I feel a 'fresh' breeze of peace with Justice blowing throughout the land...the word REASON, balanced way of living in the World, may be "coming round the circle"...so I offer this prayer for Courts, Judges, representatives, presidents, authorities, to realize the simple Ideal, one of the founding Ideals of this Country...to peaceably assemble for worship, speech, petition, to have this realization of First Amendment Freedoms come into your hearts and minds, and i offer this prayer to all brothers and sisters of the living light, to Stand Up, fly your colors, Peaceably Assemble for purposes of expression on the public lands....Peace, Love With Justice....remember Harriet Tubman lives...BeaPlunker, and family, Montana Rainbow Tribe, April 23, 1998, in jesus christ's name, selah.
