CZECH

Prague, Karlovi Vary ... You can hardly find a person, which came here even once, doesn't want to be here again. I'm not an exception too, had been here at first time in June 1998, I couldn't refuse from invitation of my friends to see these places again in March 2000. Will describe my impressions from both trips together below.

My first tour was build by standard tourist plan: the flight by Czech airlines from Sheremetyevo-2 to Prague, transfer to hotel, 4 excursions for 6 days by a program and 2 additional. Undoubtedly, it is very necessary for tourists, who came at first time there, to listen about a culture and history of Czech from professional tour guide. We got one elderly women from the central Czech tourist bureau, from which speech we understood that whole history of her country was connected with some mysterious people, which manes she wasn't calling, but every time she was referring to them, using pronouns "they": "... they built...", "... they destroyed ..." and so on. Once upon, nevertheless, she said one sentence from which we found out, that those magic "they" were nobody else, but "Capuchins" 8o)))
In March 2000 we came in Prague almost the same team, but without any excursions and not by air, just with native Russian Railways company (I wish now too much about it). My saving of money was about $150 (a difference between a price for tickets on a plane and a train), but, believe, moral shocks on the way from the meetings with customs officials don't cost that money, so if you have a choice, travel by air!
During my stay in Czech, I saw a lot of beautiful and interesting places in Prague, Karlovi Vary, Kutna Hora and outskirts of that towns and cities. Of course, it is necessary to describe about all places in more details, but I will stop only on Prague and shortly tell about others.

Also, would like to tell you a few about my expressions from Czech Beer. A Beer! That mysterious barley drink has a special taste here! I never felt myself as an expert in beer (especially in dark kinds), but it is impossible to be indifferent to it here! In any bar, in any pub or restaurant waiter will offer you 2-3 different kinds and beer's saucer will be best souvenir from Czech.
