Monday, 13th March (4 days past due), our gynaecologist, Dr. L.C. Cheng of Thomson Medical/Katong Women's Clinic confirms she is ready to meet the world the next day.
8AM: Mama & Papa checks into TMC after driving up the wrong exit - so uncool daddy.
9:30 AM: Mama is all set (with drips and all that). She'd her favourite CD to calm the nerves too.
10AM: Dr Chan, our Anesthetician has mama all set for a "cool" delivery.
2PM: We had unpleasant surprise. The baby is not due yet (not for another estimated 7 hours).
5:30PM: Surprise! Surprise! The nurse informed the baby is almost due and Dr Cheng will be on his way. Mama & Papa were a little anxious now not knowing what to expect and the thought of seeing our joy soon.
6PM: Dr Cheng arrives and by then all the necessary items needed for the childbirth are ready.
Dr Cheng exclaims it will be a quick one as the baby's crown is already showing. Papa took a peep and saw for the first time, the bundle joy with alot of hair!
By then, Mama is all set for the 'push' of her life and with the second push, Carmen See Tow's started "uh-ga-uh-ga" and she's born! All is done within the 30 minutes.
Daddy had the honour to cut the umblical cord.
"From hereon life is not going to be the same again!"
