The Drama:
Monday 2nd July, 2001 ... ... Sunny
7:45 AM: Dad drives mummy to Thomson Medical Centre. This time, daddy makes sure no wrong turn which he did for Carmen.
8:15 AM: Daddy register while mummy being taken to the delivery for Prep works.
9:30 AM: Dr. Puah (Anesthecian) hooked up epidural for mummy. A 'must have' for her zero pain tolerance level.
11:00 AM: Dr LC Cheng- our Gynaecologist checks on mummy. He thinks it will be evening before baby is due.
3:30 PM: Dr Cheng makes another round of check, still the little one is not quite ready yet. However, mummy is feeling the pain, she thinks the epidural is not working well or it is wearing off.
6:30 PM: Dr Cheng checks on mummy for the 3rd time. Mummy is really uncomfortable especially the contraction is getting onto her. Dr Cheng feels the time is right for delivery and begins the necessary procedure.
6:40 PM: Interruption ...A nurse came in to the delivery room hurriedly and told Dr Cheng he is needed more urgently next door. What a joke!? Mummy has to do a "dress down" and wait again.
7:10 PM: Dr Cheng re-appears, seems like a quick & successful delivery next door.
7: 15 PM: All set up and ready for delivery. Mummy gets another local anesthesia to relieve the pain further.
7:21 PM: Clifton is born!
