FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1997

Got up early and went to Universal Studios. Mear's brought us again. We saw Terminator 3D. This was definitely the best 3D show yet. This was incredible. They would have Arnold and the kid on the screen and then actors would come on stage that looked just like them. The seats in the theatre move, too. It was so cool. Then we walked around for a few, until we hit E.T.. I love E.T.. This ride was almost like the Peter Pan ride at MK. You fly over a city. It looks like you're in the woods. It was really neat. Then we went on Back to the Future Ride. Let me say this. Jen is usually the one to get sick on these motion simulators. Well, she was fine and I am the one who got sick. Sick as a dog. I had my Dremomine, but did I take it? No, of course not. I haven't needed it my whole trip. Anyway, on this ride, you hop into the Delorian and the sides come down and the lights go out. All of a sudden the car starts going up. It feels like you are going to take off. Then, out of the blue, you are in this omni-theatre type thing and a movie comes on all around you so it looks like the car is actually flying. Be careful for the fall. The car tilts and it is so realistic that you may get sick. That's where it killed me, anyway. I was done for a while.

After we relaxed for a few, we went on the Jaws ride. That was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. It was cute though. I couldn't do any other rides. I was so sick.

Poor Jen wanted to go on Earthquake and King Kong, but she wouldn't go alone and I didn't think I was going to live never mind handle another ride right now.

We went shopping and then hopped over to the Hard Rock for lunch. I liked it there. They were really nice. The food was good and for a fair price, too. They have this new thing there. If you want to buy or look at their merchandise. The waitress will bring it to you and show it to you. And if you want to buy it, she will ring it up and add it to the bill. We didn't do it that way because we didn't really know what anything looked like and we didn't want the waitress to bring everything they had to our table. So we decided to go down to the store after we ate and look around. I ended up buying a baseball T-shirt, sunglasses and a hurricane glass.

We headed back for ASM at around 1:30. We jammed the things we got into our suitcases. We took a nap for a while and then got up, took showers, got dressed up and headed over to Pleasure Island. We were both blah because of the nap. We made reservations at Planet Hollywood. The wait wasn't too bad, about 25 minutes. After we got seated, we were thinking on ordering a drink. Stop right there. They are so expensive. For a drink in a Planet Hollywood cup they wanted $13 something. Ya Right! For $13 bucks I expect at least 4 drinks. It was nice in there though. They have these screens everywhere so that you can see the other P.H.'s and Demi, sly, Arnold and Bruce. It's a dome shaped thing with 3 floors. The food was kinda pricy but very good. I got a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes. Jen didn't feel like going around and I still was feeling a little tired. So we went back to the hotel. I was a little bummed but what could I do.

When we got back, we called the front desk for a late check-out. You can keep your room until 1p.m for free. Well, when we called we almost didn't get a late check-out because so many people had already asked. I was furious. The lady at the desk at check-in told us to call the morning we were leaving and ask. Luckily, we did it the night before. Finally, the guy let us have it because we were misinformed.

So after that we decided to call for baggage pick-up, too. We weren't going to go through what we did on the first day we got here. Plus, our bags were a lot heavier now. So we called and asked for a pick-up at 12:30. They take your bags and store them for you if you want to go around the park for the last day. After, we did that we started packing the stuff we new we wouldn't need for the last day there. Oh Joy!

WEATHER: Today was actually nice and comfortable.

CROWD: Light.
