About Me and My Interests

If you are here, you're curious about who Snugs is. I am female, and mother to two of the most wonderful, beautiful girls you can imagine. They are now 21 and 19 and I am truly blessed to have them with me. My oldest graduated from high school in '99 and I prepared this site as a surprise/tribute to her. My younger daughter who is enjoying her senior year at college (University of North Texas).

I'm not sure what you are expecting to see here, or what I want to PUT here, but you're here ~ so here goes!

What I do to help pay the bills - Secretary / Assistant / I work in Corporate America
Pets - Not Any More (He left with daughter to college!)
Favorite Color - Teal or Emerald Green and RED!!!!
Favorite Food - Italian (and CHEESECAKE!)although I do love shrimp and lobster or a thick juicy steak (medium rare)
Favorite Music - I have eclectic taste in music. I love Classic Rock and that which relaxes (love piano and acoustic guitar), a big fan of Toni Braxton, Enya, Eagles, Shania Twain, Bocelli, most C&W (and I LOVE to dance), all of the Chicago stuff too! I enjoy Trans Siberian Orchestra...Christmas music with a special message.
Birthday - September 30 *hint*
Favorite Lazy Sit by the fire thing to do - Read a good book and drink cocoa .... actually Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahula is a good mix too!
Most desired luxury - (this is where I used to say... "a housekeeper!", however, since becoming single again after 28 years... I opt to clean the house and NOW the most DESIRED luxury has become.... ) someone to do the YARD WORK!!

What is the FIRST thing I would do if I won the lottery? - Find my boss a new secretary! You should have seen his face when I told him that, too
Favorite Season - fall (if I'm somewhere to enjoy the foilage)
Favorite Place I've been - white sandy beaches of Florida (while the kids were napping indoors) vegitating on the beach alternately sipping a tall cool drink (complete with umbrella in the drink and over my face) and reading a good book ... this has recently been challenged when I visited Bald Head Island, NC (Cape Fear) ..... another beautiful US beach!

See? MUCH more than you wanted to know! Oh, and I love Dr. Seuss sillies, I enjoy playing cards and board games, I love spending time with my girls (when they aren't being hormonal teen-agers), I enjoy a beautiful spring day or a crisp autumn day, a good movie that makes me laugh, cry or sit on the edge of my chair (no blood and guts, thank-you-very-much). I prefer Miracle Whip to Mayo, dogs much more than cats, a handwritten note over an e-mail, crispy bacon instead of sausage, grits rather than oatmeal, Coke (the REAL thang) never Pepsi, milk chocolate over bittersweet dark, pecans instead of walnuts, the seashore rather than a lake. I thoroughly enjoy the theatre and just saw "THE LION KING". Now, if you're still curious after all that to SEE what I look like, take peek or see the Official Geocities look.

I've enjoyed meeting and visiting with friends from all over the world via the internet and have made some life long friends here. It seems in the anonymity of faceless communication, people either build a facade or shed their inhibitions and show you their true selves. I have been fortunate to cross paths with some very nice folks in cyberspace. But a word of caution about cyberfriends ... you only see what they want you to see ... exercise caution !

I offer this tiny glimpse into my life. I do hope you let me know you were here ... or there. *grin* I used to have a 72 Corvette that had "BLONDY" license plates ... hence the Blondy nickname. Of course, now it's Snugs or Snuggems. That all started AFTER the 'Vette, during CB radio days when I was "Snuggle Bunny". Yes, REALLY! So when I cranked up AOL, Snugs just kinda fit. And stuck. And that TOO is probably a LOT more than you wanted to know!
