About me

I am a French citizen, 50 who worked in Indonesia from 1995 to 1998. When you arrive and being a European, it is like a cultural shock. But month after month, you start to understand the values and the beliefs of the People of Indonesia. I lived in Jakarta, a large and busy capital. The jobs were easier to be founf there, and a continuous flow of farmers or small towns inhabitants increased every year by hundreds of thousands a population already close to 10 millions. But now after the monetary crisis of 1997, life is tough even in the capital town.
