The First Revenues of Hungary

After the fall of the 1848-49-th hungarian independence war the compromise of 1867 made possible the own finantial administration on Hungary. These revenues was designed in Austria, first made 1868 in the Kaiserliche und Königliche Staatsdruckerei in Wien, but already from the next year, 1969 to 1898 printed in Hungary, Budapest. There are hundreds of variants in the ten issues by the paper, watermark, undeprint types, push plate and (mixed) perforation.
