The Second Picture Serie of Revenues in Hungary

These stamps are the first revenue stamps designed in Hungary. They was in use from 1898-1903 in 3 issue. The difference are the three types (D, E, II. and III.) of the watermark between the issues. In the first issue the stamps of the "fillér" denomination has "D" watermark, the "Korona"-s are with the "E" watermark provided. To distinguish the other issues, the watermark II. from the III. can acquire with a little experiment by some characteristics. The watermarks have special rarities, as equitteur edge in the D watermark, paper quality sign and factory sign in the III. watermark. See in the special catalogue by Istvan Floderer. The watermarks generally can see clear and better like on the hungarian postage stamps, because these stamps are about two-three times lager as them. With the denominations, many positions and specials of the watermarks, these stamps give a great collecting area.
