1998, Year of the Tiger

Hong Kong 1998, the beginning of the year of the Tiger. This is the first New Year with Hong Kong as the Special Administrative Region of China. This year, the Chinese New Year starts 28 January. There are three days of festivals. Most of the shops are closed during these few days.
This first day you can see the new years parade. The second day you have the big fireworks in Victoria Harbor. The last day you can visit the the horse races.
