Scuba Diving Hawaii
I live on the island of Oahu, so most of the sites reviewed
on this page are on this island. I have provided links to dive operations on the
islands of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. The Hawaiian Islands are relatively young
(geologically speaking) and as such there are no fringing reefs. While SCUBA diving
you can definitely see Hawaii's volcanic nature. The under-water lava tubes are
really spectacular. A word of caution, don't penetrate these underwater caverns
unless you have the proper training and equipment. There is plenty of
variety, shore dives, boat dives, dives for the beginner and advanced. And if you
have not ever tried SCUBA diving this is a great place to discover the wonders of the
under-water world. The water is warm, the weather is nice year 'round, and there is
lots of fish and critters to see. When in Hawaii, get wet. You'll love it.
