Zermatt is yet another cute village in the Alps in the south-western part of Switzerland.
It is at the foot of a really high rock. This rock happens to be the Matterhorn. It looks just the one in Anahiem, but no Big Foot hiding in the caves. We couldn't find the line for the bobsled ride either. But the music waiting for the gondola ride up was the same as Disneyland (and the uniforms are the same too, really).
Here is Natalie from our hotel room.
We rode up to the foot of the Matterhorn and ate lunch there while watching the skiers (in mid-September). Here they ski year 'round.
The village of Zermatt is also adorable with numerous typical Swiss chalets (serving as hotels) and many shops. There are no cars allowed in this village.
Here is Natalie with a flower she picked at the top.
