This is the Little Big City known as Zürich.
Zürich is located in the north central part of Switzerland, the Alps are about one hour south of here. We are one hour's drive from France, Germany, Austria, or Liechtenstein, and about 3 hours from Italy. The common language here is Swiss German, but they learn English in school and most people love to speak English with you.
Zürich City is not very big, a 15-minute walk gets you across the downtown area. The Limmat River splits the downtown. On one side is the Bahnhofstrasse (train station street), with very expensive shops and many international banks. On the other side of the Limmat river is the old town, with cobble stone streets, many cute little shops, and of course there are clock towers and old church bells everywhere.
Here is Natalie on one of the bridges over the Limmat River.
Here is Natalie where the Limmat River feeds into the lake of Zürich at the end of the city.
Here she is posing along the boardwalk of the lake of Zürich.
