This is the Chico River, the Longest river in the Philippines. This has been very controversial way back during the Marcos Regime, when a Hydroelectric Complex was going to be put up. This consisted of 5 big Dams. The problem was that there were no clear government plans whatsoever for the people living on the banks way back then. Many Igorots would be displaced.
