I would like to dedicate these pages to Sammy Kibiro, my driver/guide, who passed away in 1998 at the young age of 48. He was a very special man, who shared his vast knowledge of the flora and fauna unselfishly, and without whom I would not have all my wonderful memories of Kenya.
