Most of my characters have been members of the WindGust family. The WindGust family began when Xarnoth WindGust, ArchMage of Invocation, adopted his two apprentices, the human invoker Darwin and the dark-elf invoker Daeldron, who became Mortal Leader of Master Cabal. My first WindGust, Saphyra the Assassin, married Daeldron and received the family name. My second WindGust, Xaiphyronoth the invoker, was the daughter of Daeldron and Saphyra. She had a brother, Xarnoth II, also an invoker, who disappeared just about the time she became a Master of the Five Magics. My third WindGust was Xaixara Windgust, daughter of Xaiphyronoth and Eumenides, Lord of the Three Furies. My fourth WindGust was Xaixara's half-sister Kyzha, who became known as the Archmage of Invocation like her great-granddaddy Xarnoth.
